ARMM’s appeal opened in mid-March, just as anti-Corona virus measures stifled the economy. These are certainly difficult times for the whole country. But we think raw milk enthusiasts are up for the challenge.
We are hugely grateful to our many supporters, who continue to donate week by week, despite severe hardship and dislocation nationwide.
I hope everyone reading this update is getting the support they need, assisting others, and can see a way forward to a time when life begins to normalise.
Our major risk assessment project, to be carried out by an expert overseas consultant, will begin when we have the funds to pay for it. We are not there yet, so our fundraiser will likely continue through the winter, and perhaps beyond. We are impatient to start, but have to be realistic.
I’m confident that this ground-breaking study will be money well spent, because it is the fastest path to our goal of creating a regulated raw milk industry. By the way, any Australian State, acting alone, could do this now, if it chose.
You can help lift this muddleheaded ban. Please like and share ARMM’s advertising resources on social media. And encourage your family and friends to donate, if they can manage it. Spread the word.
You will be supporting our major project, and you will also help ARMM with its operating costs. Even not-for-profits have small expenses, such as our website.
Finally, we hope you stay well, and get to drink nourishing, safe raw milk before too long.
Thanks so much for your support.
